Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Darise FZE collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our website, apps, games, cloud services, online store and other Services. We collect as little as we need, and we never sell your personal data.
01Who is responsible for your data
Darise FZE (“Darise”, “we”) is the controller of personal data processed under this Policy. Address: Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Contact: info@darise.net.
We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where it applies to you, other data protection laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation.
02Data we collect
Depending on the Service you use, we may collect:
- Contact data you give us, such as your name, email address and phone number when you contact us, subscribe or request a quote.
- Account data, such as username, email, password (stored encrypted) and profile settings, if an app requires an account.
- Order and transaction data, such as products bought, amounts, delivery address and order history. Card payments are processed by payment providers or app stores; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Content you create in our apps, such as files, notes, images or game progress, stored to provide the Service.
- Device and usage data, such as device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, crash logs and diagnostic data, used to keep the Service working and secure.
- Communications, such as messages you send to support.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as health, religion or biometric data). If a future app needs such data, it will ask for your explicit consent first and explain why.
03How we use your data
- To provide, operate and maintain the Services and your account;
- To process orders, payments, deliveries, subscriptions and refunds;
- To respond to your questions and provide support;
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix errors;
- To understand how the Services are used and improve them, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible;
- To send service messages (such as receipts and important updates) and, only with your consent, marketing messages, which you can stop at any time;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
04Legal bases
We process personal data where it is needed to perform a contract with you, where you have given consent, where we must comply with a legal obligation, or where we have a legitimate interest that is not outweighed by your rights (such as security and service improvement).
05Sharing your data
We share personal data only as needed with:
- Service providers who work for us, such as hosting, cloud storage, email, payment, delivery, analytics and crash-reporting providers, under contracts that protect your data;
- App stores and platforms such as Apple and Google, which process purchases and app distribution under their own policies;
- Authorities where required by law, court order or to protect rights, safety and security;
- Group companies or successors, if a Service is moved to a company within the Darise group or as part of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation, under the same protections.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers.
06International transfers
Our providers may store or process data outside the UAE. When this happens we take steps required by law to make sure your data receives an adequate level of protection, such as transferring only to countries with adequate protection or using contractual safeguards.
07How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: for example, account data while your account is active, and transaction records for the period required by UAE commercial and tax laws. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
08Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege access, to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, so please use strong, unique passwords and tell us about any concern.
09Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Where an app is intended for younger audiences, it will follow the rules of the relevant app store and require parental consent where needed. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- delete your data or your account;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
To make a request, email info@darise.net with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within the time required by law. Where an app offers in-app account deletion, you can also delete your account directly in the app.
11Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses only the technical storage it needs to work. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and shares your IP address with Google for that purpose.
Our apps may use device identifiers or similar technologies for essential functions, analytics or crash reporting. Where required, including under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency rules, we will ask for your permission before any tracking.
12App-specific information
Each app may provide additional privacy details in its app store listing (for example, Apple’s privacy “nutrition label”) and inside the app. Those details supplement this Policy.
13Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify you through the Service or by email.
14Contact and complaints
Questions or requests: info@darise.net. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority in your country.
